Stained teeth, overcrowding, gaps, chips, and even a gummy smile can make you feel self-conscious about your appearance. At The Cosmetic Dental Gallery, we create customised smile makeovers to transform your smile and boost your confidence.

A smile makeover consists of two or more treatments such as cosmetic bonding, veneers, crown lengthening, Invisalign®, teeth whitening, or other cosmetic procedures designed to help you achieve a brighter, more even smile.

How long does a smile makeover take?

There is no set time frame for a smile makeover because every patient’s smile is unique.

Some treatments may only take one or two appointments, such as teeth whitening and veneer application. However, implants can take 6-9 months to complete due to the healing time.

Who is eligible for a smile makeover?

Anyone who would like to improve their smile is a candidate for smile makeover treatments. However, if you have any underlying oral health issues, you may require restorative treatment before you can begin your smile makeover treatment.

How many treatments are included in a smile makeover?

A smile makeover consists of two or more cosmetic treatments. There is no limit to the number of treatments. You and your dentist will determine which combinations of treatments are required to achieve your dream smile.

Cosmetic Bonding

Cosmetic bonding is a non-invasive and straightforward procedure that instantly improves misshapen teeth, teeth with cracks, chips, or discolourations, and closes minor gaps to restore your natural smile.

How does cosmetic bonding help?

Your dentist applies the bonding material to the deformity or discoloured tooth, then shapes and smooths it so that it looks natural. The shade of the bonding resin closely matches that of your natural tooth.

What is involved in the procedure?

Your dentist may choose to slightly roughen the area where the bonding resin will be applied.

Next, the dentist coats the area with a conditioning compound to help the resin bond. Then the dentist applies the resin, shaping and curing it until it masks the abnormality. When the resin has hardened, your dentist shaves off any excess material.

Will anyone notice my tooth was repaired?

Composite resin is designed to mimic your natural tooth colour, so no-one will ever know you used cosmetic bonding to repair your tooth.

Are there any restrictions as to what I can eat or drink?

You can eat, drink, brush, and floss as you normally do after the cosmetic bonding procedure.
